Ravyn Lenae Postpones ‘Blue Island’ Tour, Promises Shows Will Be ‘Worth the Wait’

Ravyn Lenae has postponed her upcoming Blue Island tour, which was scheduled to kick off next month.

26) in a statement shared to her Instagram story, telling fans that she made the “difficult decision” to postpone her fall touring plans after speaking with her team.

“Hi everyone,” Lenae began, before thanking fans for their support of Blue Island , her third studio album.

“The love I’ve received so far is so beautiful, and I’m eternally grateful for the time you’ve spent with it.” Lenae acknowledged that the postponement may come as a letdown to fans but assured them that she plans to make her return to the stage worthwhile.

“I hate to disappoint you,” she wrote.

“Connecting with my fans through live performance is one of my favorite experiences as an artist but promise when I bring the show to you in the new year it’ll be worth the wait.” The Blue Island tour was originally set to begin Sept.

15 in Sacramento, Calif., before traveling through cities including Oakland, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Chicago, Washington D.C., Toronto, Raleigh, Memphis, Dallas, Austin and Phoenix.

A Los Angeles date at the Greek Theatre was scheduled for Oct.

21, with Lexa Gates and Nourished By Time among the artists announced as supporting acts on select dates.

Lenae did not provide a specific reason for the postponement.

She did, however, confirm that fans who have already purchased tickets will receive refunds.

“All purchased tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase,” she wrote.

The announcement comes less than three weeks after Lenae released Blue Island on Aug.
