NBA Star Anthony Edwards Named His 2026 ‘White Boy of the Year’ and You’ll Never Guess Who Beat Out Travis Kelce and Tom Holland

Billboard ·

Grammys are great, Oscars divine, Emmys are a dream and Super Bowl trophies are tops.

But in the world of Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony “Ant” Edwards, the only hardware that matters is his annual tongue-in-cheek Believe That Awards.

And the winner of one of the top prizes at the second-annual BTA honor could not be more apt this year.

After bestowing the jokey prize on actor Timothée Chalamet last year, Edwards announced that the coveted 2026 White Boy of the Year prize went to Justin Bieber .

The resurgent Swag star beat out some stiff competition from Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl legend Travis Kelce, Spider-Man star Tom Holland, World Cup viral Viking Erling Haaland and perennial contender actor Robert Pattinson.

Bieber couldn’t make it, but he sent in a video to commemorate his career high-point.

“Mr.

Anthony Edwards himself honoring me with the White Boy of the Year award.

Man, thank you bro,” said Bieber in the vertical clip in which he was wearing a gray hoodie.

“This is special.

Everyone knows how influenced I am by Black culture and this one’s sweet.

I appreciate you guys, I’ll tap in with you guys soon.

All right.” The awards celebrating “standout moments, cultural disruptors and iconic achievements across sports and entertainment, filtered through the unapologetic and uncensored lens of Edwards,” is available to screen on Edwards’ YouTube page now.

The whole affair had a playfully casual mood, with Edwards casually eating his dinner while presenting the prizes and gleefully razzing the winners during their acceptance speeches.
