Georgia enters today’s game as the No.

2-ranked team in the nation.

As impressive as quarterback Gunner Stockton has been this season, Georgia has actually been a run-first team.

They have run the ball 164 times with 17 different ball-carriers.

Stockton has done a bit of carrying, but he tends to scramble out of necessity instead of set plays.

The top four carriers for the Bulldogs are all running backs.

111 of the 162 carries have gone to their top four options, and three of them are averaging 6.7 yards per carry or more.

The other, Chauncey Bowens, is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry but has six touchdowns.

Alabama has also run the ball substantially more than they have passed it.

The Tide has thrown the ball 136 times, and they’ve run the ball 192 times.
