Sheryl Crow, John Legend To Headline ‘America’s Tailgate On CBS’ Special

CBS is helping to ring in football season with the upcoming special America’s Tailgate On CBS , a television special set to be held in Nashville and air on Labor Day (Sept.

7) starting at 8 p.m.

ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

Sheryl Crow and John Legend will lead performances for the special, while the lineup also includes Chase Rice and Gabby Barrett.

Co-hosted by CBS Mornings and CBS Sports’ The NFL Today analyst Nate Burleson and CBS Sports’ Melanie Collins, the event will also feature appearances from NFL MVP and executive producer Josh Allen, as well as The NFL Today ‘s Kyle Long and Russell Wilson.

The television special will also include outdoor cooking segments with chef Keith Corbin, as well as appearances from Canadian flag football gold medalists, quarterback Sara Parker and wide receiver Caroline Moquin-Joubert.

The special is produced by Skydance Sports, NFL Films, EverWonder Studio, Lost Tribe Studio and Down Home.

Executive producers include Josh Allen and Chris Castallo, as well as Downhome’s Tim McGraw, Tim Staples, Brian Kaplan and Joel Bergvall, Lost Tribe’s Danny Meiseles, Skydance Sports’ Jesse Sisgold, Jason Reed, Jon Weinbach and Lauren Gaffney, NFL Films’ Ross Ketover, Keith Cossrow, Ken Rodgers and Jessica Boddy, EverWonder’s Michael Antinoro and Sarah Levine Hall.

Country star McGraw launched the entertainment, media and marketing company Downhome in 2023 as a collaborative effort between McGraw, his management company EM.Co and social content studio Shareability.

“The event will bring the party to Nashville this season, pulling together music, food, football and, most importantly, the fans, for a special celebration for audiences worldwide to enjoy.”
