The Ohio State Buckeyes will visit the Texas Longhorns for one of the most anticipated early matchups of the college football season . The Buckeyes and the Longhorns handidly won their first games against their respective opponents, setting up each team’s first real test of the season.

Both the Buckeyes and Longhorns have some serious starpower on their teams; Buckeyes wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, quarterback Julian Sayin, and Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning are among the favorites for the Heisman Trophy.

The last time the two teams met, Ohio State had the home advantage, beating the Longhorns 14-7. With home field advantage this time around, Texas heads into this matchup the slight favorites. Should they lose to the Buckeyes, it’ll mark their third consecutive loss to Ohio State.

ABC will air coverage of the game will air at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 12. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Holly Rowe, and Laura Rutledge will serve as announcers for the game.
