18), the singer-songwriter took to his Instagram Story to ask his fans — whom he affectionately calls “lovers” — for some help narrowing down the songs he’ll perform when he hits the road for his upcoming Dinner Party Live on Tour trek.
“Lovers ! I’m almost done with the tour setlist but it’s gotten so much tougher with 4 albums now so I need your help,” Horan wrote, directing fans to a setlist voting page.
This isn’t just a poll asking fans to name a favorite song.
The interactive page allows Horan’s listeners the chance to basically build their dream setlist.
Fans are prompted to select 20 songs they want to hear during the tour.
They can search for a specific track or scroll through Horan’s catalog, with his albums displayed one after another and individual songs listed underneath each project.
Once fans find a song they want to hear live, they can check the box next to it to add it to their selections.
The setup gives fans a chance to dig through Horan’s four-album catalog and decide which songs they believe deserve spots in the live show, regardless of if they’re well-known favorites or tracks they’re hoping to hear from his newer work.
Horan’s setlist dilemma comes just about a month before he is set to bring Dinner Party to the road.
With four albums’ worth of material to choose from, the singer has plenty of songs competing for a limited number of spots.
His solo discography began with 2017’s Flicker , followed by 2020’s Heartbreak Weather , 2023’s The Show and ultimately his most recent release, Dinner Party , all of which debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 .
