Rosalía Dazzles With Balletic and Rain-Soaked ‘LUX’ Performances on ‘Saturday Night Live’: Watch

Rosalía brought theatrical flair to Studio 8H.

The Spanish singer-songwriter returned to Saturday Night Live on Oct.

11 to deliver two striking performances from her fourth studio album, LUX .

Following an introduction from host Shane Gillis, Rosalía opened with “Reliquia,” delivering a ballet-inspired performance that appeared to keep her en pointe for nearly its entirety.

The singer trained with a professional ballerina to prepare for the choreography featured on her LUX tour.

Dressed in a dark, ballet-inspired outfit, Rosalía delivered the song — which reached the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart in November 2025 — as shadows of orchestral musicians played across the flowy curtain behind her.

For her second performance, Rosalía took to the dimly lit stage in a sheer gown to sing “Magnolias,” the devastating closing track from LUX .

Halfway through the performance, in-studio rain began to pour over the singer as she finished the song.

The appearance marked Rosalía’s second time as a musical guest on SNL .

She made her debut in 2022 , performing “Chicken Teriyaki” and “La Noche de Anoche” from her album MOTOMAMI .

She also made a cameo during Bad Bunny’s 2021 appearance on the show, when the pair performed “La Noche de Anoche.” Released to widespread attention, LUX made a strong debut on the Billboard charts, entering the Billboard 200 at No.

4.

The album also debuted at No.

1 on five Billboard charts, including Top Latin Albums, Classical Albums, Classical Crossover Albums and World Albums.
