25), Hadestown: The Musical is now available to purchase or rent digitally, with Blu-ray and DVD editions due out on Oct.

20.

Both physical versions are currently available for preorder.

The filmed stage production had an impressive run in theaters after opening across North America on July 24.

In its first weekend, it earned $10.2 million, beating the $10.1 million opening weekend of Hamilton ’s theatrical stage capture in 2025.

The result made Hadestown the biggest opening for a live theater capture at the North American box office.

And audiences weren’t exactly ready to say goodbye.

The film brought in another $8 million in its second week, pushing its domestic total to $18.2 million.
