From her grandmother’s kitchen to the Air Force

From the quiet village of Doornlaagte in Mpumalanga to the kitchens of the South African Air Force, Sergeant Kholofelo Faith Sebothoma has built a career grounded in discipline, service and an enduring love for cooking.

Inspired by her grandmother, she has turned a childhood fascination with the kitchen into a profession — and a platform from which to encourage young women and aspiring chefs to pursue their dreams, regardless of where they come from.
