Social Development ordered to reinstate Lumka Oliphant
The Social Development and Health Bargaining Council has ruled that Lumka Oliphant’s dismissal as Chief Communications Director at the Department of Social Development was procedurally unfair.
In its ruling, the council ordered that the department reinstate Oliphant on the 1 st of November.
It further ruled the department pay her more than R1.5 million in back pay.
