Public safety must not be undermined: Dimpane

Police say they will not allow threats, intimidation or unlawful conduct to undermine public safety .

In a statement, Acting National Commissioner Puleng Dimpane has commended law-enforcement agencies for what she calls decisive interventions to maintain law and order.

Police spokesperson Nonkululeko Phokane says they remain on high alert.
