Victor Mothemela announced as ActionSA’s Polokwane mayoral candidate

ActionSA provincial chairperson in Limpopo, Victor Mothemela has been announced as the party’s Polokwane mayoral candidate.

The party’s provincial secretary, Shobane Mafona made the announcement during a media briefing in Polokwane earlier Friday.

Thapelo Molepo was initially announced as the party’s mayoral candidate for Polokwane, however he was withdrawn earlier this week.

Mafona says the party is confident in the new mayoral candidate.

“This decision was not made by the provincial executive on its own, it was a decision that was taken by the national leadership to say in Polokwane we need a very strong man or woman who will be able to take this party forward.

Remember Polokwane is the capital city of this province, and it has a lot of activities going on especially on the service delivery aspect.” -Report by Baatseba Mabowa
