WC matric learners will write trial exams this week

Thousands of matric learners in the Western Cape (WC) and other provinces will officially start their trial examinations this week.

The WC provincial Department of Education says the trial exams will afford learners the opportunity to assess their progress and to identify their strengths and weaknesses before the final exams commence.

Western Cape Education Minister Jaco Londt says more than 71 200 learners in the province will sit down to write their National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations this year.

“Learners are encouraged to utilise the various support resources available on the Western Cape Education Department’s website to support and advance their exam preparation.

I hope every learner approaches these examinations as a valuable learning opportunity.

Stay focused, remain disciplined and have confidence in your ability to succeed.” Count down continues Only 3 DAYS LEFT for the Grade 12 Preparatory Examinations.
