DJ Warras’s alleged murder master-mind back in court
The case against a suspect in the murder of media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock is expected to return to the High Court in Johannesburg on Monday.
The matter was postponed for the finalisation of the docket.
Stock was shot dead in December last year in Johannesburg’s city centre.
The alleged mastermind, Victor Majola, and Armindo Pacula were charged with Stock’s premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Pacula, a 25-year-old Mozambican national, was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the High Court earlier this month after entering into a plea agreement and confessing to Stock’s assassination in exchange for R25 000.
He was convicted of murder, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, and contravening the Immigration Act, with all sentences running concurrently.
Forty-four-year-old Majola is expected to return to court for the finalisation of the pre-trial conference.
