Scharnick’s case postponed to 1 September

The case against Stuart James Scharnick has been postponed to the 1st of September for further investigations.

This comes as the State is still verifying information regarding the accused.

Scharnick was arrested last Thursday and is facing charges of contravening the Firearms Act.

Wearing a black jersey and black jeans, Scharnick stood inside the dock with his hands folded, paying close attention to the court proceedings.

It emerged in court that the accused has previous convictions.
