Today's weather: Partly cloudy conditions and isolated rain expected

Isolated showers are possible over KwaZulu-Natal and the Mpumalanga escarpment, while the remainder of the country is expected to experience fine and warm to cool conditions.

The forecast predicts a generally settled day, although people in the affected eastern areas should be prepared for the possibility of isolated rainfall.

SAWS issued the outlook for Thursday and Friday 21 August, with partly cloudy conditions expected over the central and eastern parts of the country.

The weather service said isolated showers are possible over KwaZulu-Natal and the Mpumalanga escarpment. Elsewhere, conditions are expected to be fine and warm to cool.

At the time of publishing, there are no specific weather warnings or advisories for Thursday but residents should continue to monitor SAWS updates for any changes to the forecast or new regional warnings.
