Khumalo says ready to serve again after charges withdrawn
Crime Intelligence head Dumisani Khumalo says he is ready to get back to serving the country after fraud and corruption charges against him and his six co-accused were withdrawn by the National Prosecuting Authority.
Khumalo and his co-accused have appeared at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court where the charges were formally withdrawn.
The charges relate to Brigadier Dineo Mokwele’s appointment.
The group was arrested in June last year and charged with the alleged irregular appointment of Mokwele .
Khumalo has addressed the media following his c ourt ap pearance.
