Ariana Grande gives health update days before final performance in London

Ariana Grande has shared a health update just days before her final performances.

The US singer is currently on her The Eternal Sunshine Tour, which ends on September 1 in London.

Ahead of Monday night’s concert, the 33-year-old pop star let fans know she had suffered a “deep cut” on her foot.

“I wanted to let you know I will need to be in cozy footwear for this evening’s show (and possibly tomorrow’s) as I am bandaged up underneath, recovering from a minor injury.

Grande told fans the injury meant she would not be able to wear her “signature heels” to perform.

“But please do not fret. On with the show and I am on the mend,” Grande said.

“I can not wait to perform for you tonight and tomorrow (even if I am a few inches shorter than usual).

Grande’s final show is scheduled for Tuesday night at London’s iconic O2 Arena.

In August, Grande confirmed she will be stepping back from the spotlight, amid growing concerns for the singer’s health.

Following her final performance in London, the singer will be taking a “much-deserved break” after facing “on-going public scrutiny”.

“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily,” a representative for Grande told People magazine.

“And then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.

The statement comes after fans expressed growing concern about Grande’s health and physical appearance, with speculation intensifying following the release of the music video for her latest single Petal.

Following the response to the video, Grande’s management responded to the public concern, confirming the singer will be taking a break after her tour.
