Missing serious offender Samuel Anthony Abraham, 41, wanted by police after allegedly failing to report

A manhunt is underway across WA’s south for a serious offender who has vanished after allegedly breaching his mandatory reporting obligations more than a week ago.

Samuel Anthony Abraham has been missing since Monday, August 24, and was last known to be in the Katanning area.

On Wednesday, WA Police appealed for community help to try and track down the 41-year-old, who Bunbury Detectives believe may be able to “assist with” an ongoing investigation.

Abraham is described as approximately 178cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Under the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2004, any person who commits a serious offence against a child must be registered as a reportable offender so they can be monitored by police after they have been sentenced or served their term of imprisonment.

WA Police have strictly warned the community not to approach Abraham if he is sighted, and too instead to call police immediately on 131 444.
