Aussie mum was told motherhood would end her career. Now her viral nail brand is in 370 Priceline stores

After being told having a baby would mean giving up on her business, By Me & Crew founder Pamela has taken her Australian nail brand from a bedroom start-up to shelves in 370 Priceline stores nationwide.

Pamela was building By Me & Crew from her bedroom when she started hearing a familiar prediction: having a child would mean putting her ambition on hold.

Now, the Australian-founded nail brand has landed in 370 Priceline stores nationwide , marking a major retail milestone for a business that began in 2022 and went on to reach more than 460 million people through social media.

By Me & Crew GEWEL semi-cured gel nail range , creates a salon-style manicure without the salon appointment or the hefty price tag. Starter sets, including the nail colour and UV lamp, start from $39.95.

To celebrate the Priceline launch, the entire By Me & Crew range is 20 per cent off until September 9.

By Me & Crew has been designed for people who want the polished look of gel nails without spending an afternoon at the salon.

The process is deliberately simple. Peel the semi-cured gel nail from its backing, apply it to the natural nail, then cure it under the included UV lamp for 60 seconds.

The brand says the full application can take about 20 minutes , with no drilling and no drying time.

The range is also designed to last for two to three weeks, according to By Me & Crew.

A salon gel manicure in Australia can cost around $90 or more, depending on the salon and service, while GEWEL starter sets begin at less than half that price and include the lamp.

For anyone trying to cut back on beauty spending without abandoning their manicure altogether, the maths is compelling.

Current options include Milky White Polka Dot, Muted Burgundy, Gentle Pink and Pink Glazed Donut, the latter inspired by the glossy, barely-there manicure aesthetic associated with Hailey Bieber.

It’s the sort of manicure wardrobe that feels designed for real life: sheer pinks for everyday , burgundy when you want something moodier and playful designs when a plain manicure simply won’t do.

By Me & Crew says the sticker nails have already amassed a 4.9-star rating from more than 50,200 customers before its Priceline rollout.
