Jethro Kleinig: Former Adelaide reception teacher hit with almost 100 new child sex charges
A former reception teacher from Adelaide’s southern suburbs has been hit with a fresh wave of child sex charges, with the tally soaring from one to 97 in court on Thursday.
The accused, 32‑year‑old Jethro Kleinig from Aldinga Beach, was already facing a single count of possessing child abuse material found on his phone — a charge he has previously pleaded guilty to.

Prosecutors revealed almost a hundred additional offences when Kleinig faced court on Thursday, including producing and possessing child exploitation material and indecent filming.
Kleinig had worked as a reception teacher at multiple private schools, including Tatachilla Lutheran College.
Parents from one of the schools told 7NEWS they were horrified by the sheer number of new charges, saying the indecent filming offence in particular had left them deeply unsettled.
Kleinig appeared via video link from prison as the new charges were read out. He is yet to enter pleas to any of them.
