Highway shut after serious early-morning crash injures woman and man

A young boy and a woman have been injured and a major Perth highway shut after a serious early-morning crash.

Emergency services were called to Brookton Highway in Lesley, south-east of Perth near Armadale, after a car hit a tree about 1.40am on Monday.

The boy, aged under 10, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital under normal road conditions.
