AirPods Pro 3 are $84 off just as Apple’s new AirPods 5 hit shelves

The AirPods Pro 3 are currently $345 at Amazon Australia, reduced from $429, giving shoppers an $84 saving.

The 20 per cent discount brings Apple’s Pro earbuds down to their lowest price point in this deal, making it a timely option for anyone considering an upgrade.

It is worth noting that the AirPods Pro 3 are not the newest AirPods overall. Apple’s newer AirPods 5 have now joined the range, but the Pro 3 remain the company’s premium in-ear model, with a suite of features aimed at people who want more from their wireless earbuds.

One of the biggest drawcards is Active Noise Cancellation. Apple says the AirPods Pro 3 can remove up to twice as much unwanted noise as the AirPods Pro 2, which could make a noticeable difference when listening on a commute, travelling, working in a busy office or simply trying to concentrate.

Hearing health is another major part of the AirPods Pro 3 feature set. Users can take a hearing test at home, access the Hearing Aid feature for clearer communication and use Loud Sound Reduction to help minimise exposure to loud environmental noise.
