Wild vision emerges from inside the MCG as ‘Pies fans turn on each other’
Footage has emerged of wild crowd fighting during Collingwood’s wildcard clash with the Western Bulldogs on Friday night.
Multiple fans have shared vision of the incidents from inside the MCG which occurred during the tense game, on level 1, near the fence.
Football podcaster DanDoesFooty posted vision of one incident, captioning it, “Pies fans turning on each other”.
In one of the clips, a man can be seen throwing punches and shoving a woman while, just metres away, another fight breaks out near the fence.
Police and security quickly rushed to the violent spotfires in a bid to diffuse the situation.
Razed footy said: “WOW!! Things got absolutely HEATED among Pies fans after Collingwood were eliminated by just THREE points in the first-ever Wildcard Final... 😬.”
Another fan account said: “Wow, Pies fans having a full blown punch on was not on my bingo cards tonight 😧.”
Police revealed four men were evicted from the MCG and issued penalty notices for riotous behaviour.
