Woman and young girl found dead in car after crashing into dam on Fraser Coast

A woman and a 10-year-old girl have been found dead after a car crashed into a dam on Queensland’s Fraser Coast.

Emergency services were called to Springvale Rd in Tinana South just before 5.30pm on Thursday after being told a blue Subaru Tribeca had crashed into a dam.

A 36-year-old Tinana South woman and a 10-year-old girl were found inside the vehicle, and had already died by the time first responders arrived.

An investigation has been commenced by the Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit.
