Spring is coming: Hommey’s new Read the Room collection is perfect for a seasonal refresh

With September around the corner comes the promise of warmer, longer days and the beginning of spring and summer.

And with that comes the desire to update your home in some small but meaningful way.

New bed linen is one of the easiest ways to get a fresh feeling and mood throughout a house or apartment, and some of the best on the market right now comes from Aussie brand Hommey.

The brand’s new ‘Read The Room’ collection has something for every mood.

Boasting six new colourways and new stripe colourways including Dusty Pink, Chambray Blue, Sage Stone and Raisin, and solid shades are Pink Salt and Green Olive, the bedding collection is made from 100 per cent organic cotton.

What this means is that it’s soft, breathable and gets better with every wash.

My pick from the new collection has to be the new ‘Raisin’ colourway of quilt cover, sheets and pillowcases, which has been stonewashed for a relaxed finish from the very first night.

Designed to be layered and lived in , I love the look of it with contrasting block colour and striped Euro pillowcases and scatter cushions.
