Jean Silva defeats Jose Miguel Delgado by submission at Noche UFC

The Brazilian beat Jose Miguel Delgado by submission in the third round of Noche UFC on Saturday.

Silva will now look towards a potential shot at the UFC flyweight championship. He has lost only once since Nov. 10, 2018, when Diego Lopes knocked him out last year.

The 29-year-old now holds a professional record of 18-3-0. Following the victory, Silva handed his gloves to Hunter Campbell, the Chief Business Officer of the UFC, letting him know that he would be the next champion.

Delgado put up a good effort despite taking the fight on short notice; he replaced the injured Yair Rodriguez.
