Projecting every Ottawa Senators players' offensive output for 2026-27 NHL season
With meaningful hockey on the horizon, armchair general managers are currently prepping for their fantasy hockey drafts.
Though they lack true superstars — Tim Stutzle and Jake Sanderson aren’t quite there yet — the Ottawa Senators could be a dangerous team on offence this season with a ton of talent spread out amongst the top-nine forward group and an elite defence corps
Their 3.35 goals per game in 2025-26 was eighth in the NHL. Do they have another top-10 season ahead of them?

We projected each roster player’s offensive output over 84 games for 2026-27.
Stutzle fired his most shots last season since his 39-goal campaign in 2022-23 and the Sens will need him to be even more selfish this year. With Brady Tkachuk out the door, there’s an anxiety surrounding Ottawa’s goal-scoring ability, but Stutzle can absolutely pick up the slack.
As he begins to enter his prime at 24 years old, don’t be so sure that the point totals will simply climb with age. He’s entirely capable of doing so, but Stutzle has made a serious commitment to rounding out the rest of his game, becoming a reliable two-way player who also kills penalties.
Batherson’s point total has risen each of the seven seasons following his rookie year. While he will be under added pressure after signing the biggest contract in franchise history , there’s no sense in betting against the trend with two extra games this year.
Many of Batherson’s career-high 33 goals last season were super lucky — pucks seemed to go in off of all parts of his body — but you create your own luck in this league by going to the front of the net. At times, he was the only player doing that. If he does it again, he’ll hit 30 with ease.
