One woman dead, another seriously hurt in three-vehicle collision
The Ottawa Police say a 31-year-old woman was pronounced dead on scene after a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of March Road at Diamondview Road in the far western rural outskirts of Ottawa.
The fatal collision also resulted in another woman, 37, seriously hurt. Police say she was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries Friday night.
In a late Friday night release, the Ottawa Police say they are seeking witnesses of the collision.
“Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and has not yet spoken to police,” police said.

The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigations Unit says officers were called to March Rd at Diamondview Rd at approximately 5:42 p.m.
“Multiple injuries were reported as a result of the collision,” police said in a release late Friday night after police responded to the earlier that night.
