Tempo sign centre Kamila Borkowska to developmental contract

Six-foot-seven centre Kamila Borkowska signed a developmental contract with the team, it announced on Saturday.

Borkowska, a 24-year-old from Poland, would make her WNBA debut if she gets into a game. She previously competed at training camp with the Connecticut Sun last season.

Over six games with her national team at the European Championships over the past two years, Borkowska has averaged 12 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals.

She spent the most recent European club season in Poland, but is set to join Spain's Valencia Basket this WNBA off-season.

The Tempo have three games left in their inaugural season, starting with their home finale Sunday against the New York Liberty.
