Graphics: China's engagement in global governance

The 2026 Global Governance Forum (Xiongan) will be held from October 23-25 in Xiongan New Area under the theme "Rebuilding Confidence and Cooperation: Reforming and Improving Global Governance in a Transforming World." Delegates from nearly 100 countries across the Global South, Europe and America will convene and tour China's "city of the future." Drawing on the white paper "Building a More Just and Equitable Global Governance System: China's Vision, Initiatives and Actions," the chart below maps China's tangible contributions to global governance across peacekeeping, global development, cultural exchange and climate action.
