Chinese Defense Minister meets attendees of Beijing Xiangshan Forum

Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun held separate talks with Thai Minister of Defense Adul Boonthamcharoen, Mongolian Minister of Defense Dambyn Batlut, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Tea Seiha and Singapore's Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing, who are attending the Beijing Xiangshan Forum.

During the talk, Dong said global governance has come to a critical point where moving forward is the only way to avoid falling back, and seeking peace, development, cooperation and justice is a common wish.

Dong emphasized that the Beijing Xiangshan Forum adheres to equality, openness, inclusiveness and mutual learning.

He added that the Chinese army stands ready to work with all parties to jointly safeguard international and regional stability, foster a sound security environment, and help ensure peace and development.
