Welspun Corp shares surge 9% after Rs 17,200 crore order win; global order book hits record Rs 42,000 crore

Welspun Corp shares rallied as much as 9% after the company secured its largest-ever order worth $1.8 billion, or around Rs 17,200 crore, for pipe supplies from its US manufacturing facility.

The order takes its global order book to a record $4.4 billion, or around Rs 42,100 crore, boosting multi-year revenue visibility and strengthening its position in global energy infrastructure.
