Xiaomi has launched Redmi 17 5G smartphone in India for the premium segment buyers . The Chinese smartphone maker has provided a 3.5mm jack and IP64 dust and splash rating in the Redmi 17 5G.
Redmi 17 5G has a 6.9 inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 825 nits of high brightness mode. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i as well.
Redmi 17 5G ships with a 7,900mAh battery, supported by a 45W charger inside the box. It also supports wired reverse charging.
Redmi 17 5G runs on Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor with up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It also supports storage of up to 2TB via microSD. The phone operates on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Redmi 17 5G sports a 50 MP main camera, and an 8 MP front camera for selfies. The front camera also features a soft-light ring for lighting.
Redmi 17 5G comes in Absolute Black, Endless Blue and Eternal Orange with a vegan leather finish, starting at ₹39,999 for the 6 GB/128 GB variant and ₹41,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB model. It will retail starting September 10 across Mi, Amazon and Xiaomi retail stores.
