WhatsApp Gets Advanced Passkey, 2FA and Call Screening Features to Enhance Security, Privacy

WhatsApp has announced that more than one billion users have enabled passkeys for their WhatsApp accounts.

Adding to this, the tech giant says that users who have their WhatsApp accounts logged in on both Android and iOS can now add more than one passkey to their account.

On top of this, the instant messaging platform has added a new ability to its two-step verification process.

The company has announced that users can now set up a full password, which is longer and alphanumeric, while also containing special characters.

Lastly, WhatsApp has announced a new, smarter call screening feature for WhatsApp for Android.
