Mallika Sherawat gives sassy reply to Shalini Passi's 'fake' Dolce dress jibe: 'If my glamour is causing jealousy...'

Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat is currently a part of Karan Johar 's reality show The Traitors Season 2 and has been grabbing headlines with her remarks and sassy attitude. Recently, Shalini Passi questioned Mallika's claim that she wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress on the show. Now, Mallika has hit back at her remark, calling out what she described as jealousy.

On Saturday, Mallika took to Instagram and shared a video addressing the chatter around her dress on The Traitors Season 2. She said, "Hello guys, we need to address the most important issue right now - my green dress. Mujhe toh realise hi nahi huwa ki meri dress itna bada topic of discussion ban jayegi (I didn’t even realise that my dress would become such a big topic of discussion). If my dress, my figure, my glamour is causing a little bit of jealousy, I understand. Enjoy!" She further captioned the video, "Dress meri, discussion sabka (My dress and everyone is discussing it)."

Fans were impressed by Mallika's response. One of the comments read, "You are too good! You are already a brand, your dress doesn’t need a label. And a woman should empower another woman, not comment on her dress." Another wrote, "I also want to be chatpati diva like her coz this life is cruel and only this diva energy can save me." Another comment read, "Yes @mallikasherawat right, people are jealous of you and obsessed with you." Another fan wrote, "You're queen with or without Dolce."

In one of the episodes, after Mallika shared that she had chosen a green Dolce dress for the day, Shalini took the rest of the women aside and claimed, “Just a week ago, I wore a green and gold dress of Dolce, and it is not like this. I went to adjust her mic and saw the brand. She is lying. I have worn these dresses since I was 17-18. I have custom-madeones, and I can send you pictures. I have worn a Versace couture too and an Elie Saab dress. This is not it.”

Hosted by Karan Johar, the show divides the contestants into two groups: Innocents and Traitors. While the Innocents have to identify and eliminate the Traitors from the game, the Traitors have to ensure that they remain undetected and eliminate the Innocents one by one.

So far, six episodes have been released on Prime Video. The Innocents have managed to unmask two Traitors, Harman Singha and Kullu. The other two Traitors, Shahneel Gill and Krystle D'Souza, are still safe. This week, Parul Gulati, Ranveer Brar and Abhishek Malhan were eliminated from the show.
