CoinEx Set to Close Exchange After Almost Nine Years in Operation

CoinEx has announced a phased shutdown of its centralised exchange after nearly nine years of operation.

New registrations will end on September 15, followed by the closure of derivatives services on September 22 and spot trading on September 29.

Withdrawals will remain available until December 22.

The exchange cited prolonged market weakness, reduced liquidity, and rising compliance costs.
