Mohan Babu University (MBU), Tirupati, has announced to extend merit-based scholarships to single girl children, first-generation graduates from Rayalaseema region as a token of appreciation for those seeking admissions for the academic year 2026-27.
The scholarship is extended to categories like economically disadvantaged students, children of ex-servicemen and sports achievers.
“Through these provisions, MBU seeks to support students who demonstrate academic potential while also recognising their individual circumstances and achievements”, said MBU’s Executive Director and Trustee Vinay Maheshwari.
To recognise and promote sporting talent, 100% scholarships are extended to students who have won medals at the Olympics, Commonwealth, Asian or South Asian Games, while national and state-level sporting achievements qualify for 50% and 25% scholarships respectively.
