The Ganapavaram police of Eluru district on Saturday (August 22, 2026) traced a 26-year-old woman and her three children who were reported missing on Friday (August 21). The woman, who was staying in Meyyeru village, left home along with her three daughters. Following a complaint lodged by her husband, a team led by Eluru Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) D. Sravan Kumar and Ganapavaram SI A. Mani Kumar traced the mother and children to Chilakaluripeta in Palnadu district within a few hours of receiving the complaint. “We handed over the woman and her daughters to their family members after providing counselling,” the DSP said.
