The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 13 Telangana districts for Thursday (August 20, 2026).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam districts.

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light rain or drizzle is very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31℃ and 24℃ respectively,” as per the bulletin.
