On Friday, Israeli troops reportedly shot dead a Palestinian man near refugee camps in central Gaza, wounding several others.

“Two people, a woman and a child, were killed and others were wounded when Israeli aircraft bombed a residential building” in Gaza City, the Civil Defense Service said.
Another woman was killed by artillery fire, while a separate fatality was reported in central Gaza.

The US-brokered ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025.
Israel has continued to conduct strikes, saying it is targeting militants and accusing Hamas of violating the agreement.
More than 1,450 Palestinians have been killed and over 5,000 wounded since the truce began, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
UK-based aid group Islamic Relief said on Thursday that an average of one Palestinian has been killed or wounded every 90 minutes over the past year, with at least 320 children among those killed.

The group said it had agreed in principle to a US-backed proposal but would not surrender its weapons until Israeli forces had withdrawn completely.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has demanded that Hamas disarm before further withdrawals.
