The summer transfer window is heating up once again as the likes of Arsenal , Chelsea , Liverpool , Manchester United and Tottenham work on deals to improve their squads with the start of the new Premier League season just days away. The Gunners are being linked with moves for Kenan Yildiz, Julian Alvarez and Victor Osimhen to bolster their attack, while Ezri Konsa and Jarrel Quansah continue to be of interest in defence.

Man United are aware of interest in Bruno Fernandes, amid reports of a £43million bid from Galatasaray, and are said to be interested in Adam Wharton and Kim Min-jae. Liverpool, though, are set to pass up on the option to sign Ibrahim Mbaye but have taken another huge step towards bringing in his Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Bradley Barcola.

Chelsea are braced for a Man City bid for Enzo Fernandez following Rodri’s move to Barcelona, while Pedro Neto has admirers in Saudi Arabia. Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Savinho and hope to then add Cody Gakpo to their forward line. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Manchester United are closing in on the £65million signing of Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba.

Standard Sport understands that United are in active negotiations to bring the 22-year-old to Old Trafford.

Baleba would become the fourth signing of the summer for Michael Carrick’s side, following the arrivals of Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Karl Darlow.

He would also be the third midfielder through the doors at United after Santos and Tielemans, with Carrick overhauling his options in the middle of the park.

Should Baleba complete his long-awaited move to United, then Carrick will have a decision to make about who will play in the double pivot behind Bruno Fernandes.

Bradley Barcola remains a target for Liverpool and his priority is to join Andoni Iraola’s side this summer.

However, reports in France claim PSG are demanding around €140million (£119) for the attacker.

Strengthening on the right side of defence is a priority for the Gunners before the summer transfer window shuts due to the injury absences of Jurrien Timber and William Saliba.

Arsenal identified Konsa as a top target earlier this summer but were unwilling to match Villa's valuation of £60million.
