Doyle: King George heroine 'too hot' for Oaks field

Kalpana is looking to back up her King George success in the Yorkshire Oaks on day two of York's Ebor Festival; Doyle believes Juddmonte Farms and Andrew Balding can make it two Group Ones in two days.

The great French horse Calandagan simply had no answer to Andrew Balding's mare at Ascot, where Aidan O'Brien's multiple Oaks winner finished a disappointing 18 lengths adrift.

It's pretty unusual to see a Group One winner in a sales race but the participation of Sun Goddess in the Harry's Half Million By Goffs (2.25) at York demonstrates the limitless strength in depth at Ballydoyle.
