Transfer news LIVE: Arsenal make Alvarez offer; Chelsea agree Camara deal; Man Utd, Liverpool latest

Transfer targets: Malick Fofana, Julian Alvarez and Enzo Fernandez London Standard Alex Young , Senior Sport Editor @ alexwsyoung 3 minutes ago Transfer news LIVE!

A remarkable summer windows slams shut this evening, but there is plenty more to be done on Deadline Day as Arsenal , Chelsea , Liverpool , Manchester United and Tottenham. Julian Alvarez has been the Gunners' dream signing for weeks , but Malick Fofana has emerged as an alternative option. Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus will both leave, for Saudi Arabia and Barcelona, respectively. Man Utd still need a new left-back, and are actively pursuing one in the final hours, but the clock is ticking on a late move.

Enzo Fernandez is expected to make a blockbuster move from Chelsea to Manchester City in a deal worth around £120million, with Lamine Camara replacing the Argentine at Stamford Bridge. Man City may not be done there, though, as they look to wrap up the signing of Iliman Ndiaye from under the noses of Tottenham.

Spurs have responded by making a move to sign Mykhailo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea , in a shock double swoop which will see Tosin Adarabioyo join on a permanent deal as Kevin Danso leaves. Richarlison's future remains in doubt amid talks over a return to Everton. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip with our dedicated Deadline Day blog live below!

One man who definitely isn’t leaving this summer is Bruno Fernandes, who is in talks over a new Manchester United contract.

According to the Daily Mail, preliminary discussions have taken place with the club captain, who has just 10 months remaining on his current deal.

Fernandes once again underlined his importance to United on Sunday, scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist in the 5-2 victory over Ipswich.

The 31-year-old’s impressive performance came in the same week that he was named PFA Player of the Year, further highlighting his importance to the club.

Getty Arsenal still working on Julian Alvarez plan Arsenal are continuing to work on a potential deal for Julian Alvarez and are taking steps to make a move to north London as straightforward as possible for the Atletico Madrid forward.

TEAMtalk reports that the Gunners are understood to be willing to help Alvarez relocate members of his extended family from Spain, including assistance with visas and accommodation.

Alvarez remains keen on joining Barcelona, but Atletico have made it clear they will not sell him to their La Liga rivals. Arsenal therefore see themselves as the most credible alternative if the Argentina international decides he wants to leave Madrid this summer.

The report claims that discussions have even included the possibility of incorporating a future Barcelona clause into any Arsenal agreement.

Barcelona could reportedly revisit a move for Alvarez in 2027, while Arsenal remain hopeful of completing a deal before the transfer deadline.

London Standard Manchester United still pursuing new left-back signing Manchester United are still working on deals to sign a left-back before tonight’s deadline.
