‘What Could Be Better?’ See Ariana Grande in New ‘Focker-In-Law’ Posters

Ariana Grande is getting a closer look at her future in-laws — and the Focker family is growing.

12).

And as De Niro’s Jack Byrne mutters in 2004 sequel Meet the Fockers , “What could be better?” In one image, Grande’s Olivia Jones stands beside De Niro’s Byrnes, who wears a decidedly skeptical expression, her hand resting on his German shepherd.

Another poster shows Olivia embracing her boyfriend, Henry Focker (Skyler Gisondo), while his father, Greg Focker (Stiller), watches from the sidelines.

A third brings together the film’s ensemble cast in a group portrait.

The images give audiences a sneak peek at the family dynamics driving the film, with Grande’s character entering a family that already has its fair share of complicated relationships.

In Focker-In-Law , Olivia is a former FBI hostage negotiator.

When Henry reveals his plans to propose to Olivia, Greg grows suspicious of his potential future daughter-in-law, while his own father-in-law, Jack, takes a very different approach to getting to know her.

Stiller and De Niro have starred together throughout the franchise; this is Grande’s first appearance in the series.

The returning cast also includes Teri Polo and Blythe Danner, with Gisondo, Beanie Feldstein and Eduardo Franco among the film’s other cast members.

The new posters arrive as Grande prepares to take part in the film’s promotional campaign this fall, despite previously announcing plans to step back from the public eye following her Eternal Sunshine tour.

Billboard exclusively confirmed in September that the Grammy winner would participate in press for the film, as she is proud of the project.

She will also continue working on her brands, including R.E.M.
