Alexandr Wang says don't expect Muse to magically make you $10,000

Meta's chief AI officer Alexandr Wang said the company wants to continue to improve Muse's memory.

Bloomberg/Getty Images Meta's chief AI officer, Alexandr Wang, is aware that people want Muse to make them money.

He said he finds it "funny" how people will prompt Meta's AI agent to make them $10,000.

Have you used Meta's AI agent yet? What do you think? Meta's chief AI officer, Alexandr Wang, says he plans to improve Muse, but users will have to work a little, too, if they want the agent to make them money.

"We always want to figure out how to make the agents better.

And then we want them to be able to continue doing more and more complex tasks," Wang told Cleo Abram during a recent interview for Abram's "Huge Conversations" show.

Wang was describing the viral prompts that some users are giving Meta's popular AI agent to make them X amount of money.

"I find this really funny, but there's a lot of people who will just ask their Muse, 'I want you to make me $10,000.' And, obviously, not everyone can just ask their Muse to make them $10,000." He added, "You're going to have to do your part if you want to make $10,000." Wang previously encouraged users to use Muse to find such savings as part of his #musemoneychallenge, but asking Muse to make money is on a different level.

Meta's goal, Wang said, is to continue to improve Muse's memory so it can help users tackle more complex tasks.

"The memory of the agents is not like that of a human," he said.

"Sometimes it can feel like it's like that, but it is really different.

So that's one area where we're always trying to improve." Muse has proven to be a major hit for Wang's Superintelligence Labs team.

A month after its release, Muse remains No.
