AOC backs Florida Dem Angie Nixon for US Senate: 'I’m proud to endorse her'

Senate nominee Angie Nixon ahead of her November matchup against Republican Sen.

Ashley Moody.

"At a time when working families are fighting tooth and nail to make ends meet while the Administration sells them out to corrupt special interests, we need to stand behind leaders who are accountable to working people and stand up to greedy corporations," Ocasio-Cortez said, according to Nixon's campaign .
