“I want to introduce that, which is Splurge .
This upper-echelon artist who’s gravitated to another level.” Gunna wouldn’t put a release date on the project, but it could be soon.
“I can’t say when because I’m in it right now,” he said.
“If I feel ready, it could come out next month.
But if I’m not ready, I’m not ready yet.
I don’t have a date.” When Gunna released his The Last Wun album in 2025, there was speculation that it would be his final project on Young Thug’s YSL Records label.
The “Sold Out Dates” rapper revealed he’s not a free agent, but didn’t confirm if that meant he’s still with YSL or signed to another company.
“I wouldn’t say apparently free.
We in the works,” Gunna said.
“There’s been a lot of talks of what’s being produced and who’s going to be behind me supporting it.” While he hasn’t released a single in 2026, Gunna has been part of collaborations with Shaboozey (“High Noon”) and Rich The Kid (“Too Bad”) this summer.
