Mac Miller’s Estate Announces ‘The Divine Feminine’ 10th Anniversary Edition With 3 Unreleased Songs

Mac Miller’s estate is celebrating the late rapper’s The Divine Feminine album with a 10th anniversary edition featuring three previously unreleased songs.

The commemorative anniversary edition will arrive on Oct.

2 and will be available on vinyl and digitally.

Mac’s estate unveiled the first new track set to appear on the bolstered TDF edition , “Butterflies,” which was released on Friday (Aug.

21).

Produced by Taylor Graves, “Butterflies” enlists the Pittsburgh native’s longtime collaborator and close friend Thundercat on bass.

The dreamy tune finds Mac getting pensive about a potential lover.

“There’s no emotion as powerful as love,” he sings to close out the track.

“Butterflies” and the two other unreleased Mac songs slated for the 10th anniversary edition were recorded during sessions for The Divine Feminine , but ultimately didn’t make the album’s final cut.

The Divine Feminine marked a creative pivot from his rap-heavy GO:OD AM album, as Miller explored his relationship with love and the innate beauty of women.

TDF arrived in September 2016 and peaked at No.

2 on the Billboard 200, the second-highest charting LP of Miller’s career behind his Blue Slide Park debut in 2011.

Ten years after its release, Divine Feminine fan-favorite “Cinderella” has experienced a resurgence.

The Ty Dolla $ign-assisted track exploded on TikTok and earned Mac Miller a posthumous top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
