They felt it was time to expand to a family of three.
“When Kelo arrived, the whole house lit up,” he told Vogue México .
“I feel like he takes better care of me than I do of him.
It’s a total ‘before and after’ — Kelo is the light of the house.
It’s beautiful to see how a creature can love so deeply without using words.” Kelo — named after a wordplay of “¿Qué lo qué?,” Spanish slang used to say hi to friends — has Mexican, Venezuelan and Dominican background, is playful, intense, active at night and is the “guardian of the house,” according to the singer.
“Watching how he loves us unconditionally is beautiful,” he continued, expressing that Kelo is the most simple and honest relationship of his life.
“Just thinking about him puts an automatic smile on my face.” The “Me Rehuso” singer also shared how being away from Kelo while on tour has been a challenging experience, and that he tries to involve his fur baby in as many concerts and work activities as possible.
“I feel that if Kelo could ask me for just one thing, it would be not to leave home for more than two weeks at a time,” he noted, admitting that most of the time, he just wants to be at home with his dog.
